LAFAYETTE [LA]- A late-night raid at a Lafayette strip club has left nine people facing a variety of charges and five others wanted by law enforcement.
Lafayette Metro Narcotics agents executed a search warrant at Lipsticks Gentleman's Club on Johnston Street following an eight-month investigation into alleged illegal activity, including drug distribution, prostitution, and unlawful alcohol sales to persons under 21.
The owner of the club, Mohammed Ali Makki, is faces 10 counts of obscenity and one count of keeping a disorderly place.
Others arrested include: -Cissy Rae Dugas--two counts, unlawful sale of alcohol to persons under 21. -Elizabeth Alford--one count, exotic dancing without a permit (issued summons and released). -Christian Harris--one count, exotic dancing without a permit (issued summons and released). -Jessica Lynn Mackles--two counts, obscenity; one count, distribution of Schedule II narcotics. -Kristen Marie Mitchell--two counts, obscenity -Unnamed--one count, obscenity; one count, failure to register as an exotic dancer. -Rayneisha Lewis--one count, obscenity; one count, failure to register as an exotic dancer. -Marissa Scadlock--one count, obscenity; one count, failure to register as an exotic dancer.
Five people remain at large. They are: -Angel Marie Duhon--two counts, prostitution; three counts, obscenity. -Crystal D. Duhon--one count, prostitution; two counts, obscenity. -Iry Ashante Duhon--one count, distribution of Schedule I narcotics; one counts, conspiracy to distribute Schedule I narcotics; one count, prostitution; two counts, obscenity. -Jerlendra Michelle Teno--two counts, obscenity. -Jzapal Vonkrishna Jackson--no charges listed

I'll bet Lafayette is much safer now that this den of criminal activity is smashed! Grannies can now go to church calmly knowing a few chicks won't obscenely show their bodies in a private building that only willing patrons will be able to see. Everyone should feel safer too. 8 months nets a couple drug charges, dancing without licenses and the big one, lots of obscenity charges. Taxpayers rejoice at police resources well allocated!
