Being propositioned in the club parkinglot

Has anyone else been propositioned in a club parking lot? I was leaving a club in the the late evening (lit but no security) and a youngish girl came up and started chatting with me. She never came right out and asked but it was obvious what she was about. I think her "friend(s)" were in another car across the the lot. She was quite cute but looked about 18 or 19. I asked her if I could "be of assistance" when she first came up thinking maybe her car would not start as it was winter. When she said no and did not panhandle I decided she was either part of an undercover LE operation, trying to solicit me or trying to lure me away from my car to rob me. I had my car door open and did not let her lead me from my car and did not ask her directly for sex. I eventually said "nice meeting you I have to go" and left. I have never been good at judging that type of situation on the spot and always error on the side of safety even though she was quite pretty but could have been underage. I don't think she was LE because of the person sitting in the car across the lot. She was not a seasoned pro if she was trying to sell herself that was certain. I have been propositioned at other times but seldom in a strip club lot and usually from women that are frightening. I may have made a mistake by passing that up but I lived to club another day.

Anyone familiar w/ Dallas in the early 2000s and b/f probably knows about the infamous Harry Hines Blvd – there were SCs; porn shops; modelling studios; AMPs; and seedy dance clubs all along Harry Hines.
The area was also a hotbed per se of sex workers – but unlike in other areas where the girls walked the streets; most of the girls would drive up and down Harry Hines and drive up beside you and “flirt” w/ you (the road was 3 lanes on each side).
Many of the girls were actually young and good looking – and this occurred mostly on Fr/Sat nights and I guess the girls wanted to make some side $$$ or wanted $$$ to party (drugs).
The girls would drive up and down Harry Hines and also drive into the SC parking lots and look for custies .
This all kinda got cleaned up in the late 2000s – but yeah – it was not uncommon back in the day in Dallas and I actually partook a couple of times and things went as expected.
The right call.
1) "Legitimate" soliciation. Not unlike prostitutes who go into strip clubs to chat up guys and fish for clients (and part of the reason a lot of clubs don't like unaccompanied females). Her pimp was likely in the car.
2) Less legitimate: Basically a prostitute, but some sort of sex slave/trafficking victim.
3) LE sting. Less likely only because most cities don't care to waste time and resources busting johns when they already have strained budgets.
You did the right thing not taking the bait. Your more legitimate girls advertise online. This girl was probably some sort of addict. The risk just isn't worth the reward.
Myself and LDK seem to have participated in this and it was business as usual – I didn’t notice anyone posting of an incident where it went wrong.
IMO a female (dancer) should have more of an issue/fear meeting a dude OTC than a dude going w/ a chick that solicited him – but yet many of us on here feel all stripers should do OTC.
To each their own of course and everyone should have their personal comfort level; but I think I’m going to have to start taking some of you with me to the black dives I visit so I can toughen you up :)
