One of the best ESPY speeches I've heard. He was a Tar Heel and grew up not far away. This one hit home.

He was at ESPN a long time – gone way too soon.
Always enjoyed seeing him and appreciated his work. Last saw him on the NBA Finals last season. Did not know he was so sick. He will be missed by many.
Yeah, that was his signature line. He was great. I think he had some children, too. This is gonna be rough on them.
