PORTLAND, OR (KPTV) - Officers responded to a shooting report at Tommy's Too bar, located at 10335 Southeast Foster Road, at 10:07 p.m. Monday.
A male victim suffered life-threatening injuries during the shooting, according to police.
The manager of the club said the gunman walked into the club and demanded money from the owner. The club owner handed over cash from a safe, but the gunman shot him anyways, she said.
"I don't understand why he had to shoot him. There's no reason," she said. "Craig is a strong person. I'm kind of shocked he didn't just grab the gun. It doesn't make any sense."
Homicide detectives and forensic investigators were called to the scene because of the seriousness of the victim's injuries, according to police. Police said they don't have a clear description of the gunman, but they did find money on the ground outside.
