Forget Macy’s: Strip club putting on live Xmas window show

Baz Luhrmann may have dazzled Madison Avenue with his holiday window display for Barneys New York, but a few blocks from Macy’s — which invented the holiday window tradition in the 1870s — gentlemen’s club Vivid Cabaret is launching its own window for the season.

Rather than any old department-store Santa, live dancers will appear behind the glass to jingle their bells on West 37th Street.

A scantily clad, brunette Miss Santa will gyrate in the club’s window, we hear, with four “lovely helpers” on Wednesday.

As compared to the nearby retail giant’s, Vivid’s regional manager Shaun Kevlin admitted, “It’s a small window, but it will certainly warm many hearts.”

The dancers will also hand out free admission cards to Vivid, good any time and a $20 value, as naughty stocking stuffers.

Kevlin said it’s possible dancers will continue to give regular performances for passersby through the season.

Vivid opened in January as a joint venture between Rick’s Cabaret and adult film company Vivid Entertainment.

Instead of any North Poles, it has a 25-foot stripper pole
