But Stevie-girl and The Economist said the economy and jobs market are not strong. And when Stevie-girl says so, well then it must be so! So WTH is going on here?

Is there a place to go just to see how many full time jobs are out there? With all of the adjustments made to the unemployment rate (people dropping out of the work force is somehow good?) it's hard for an average joe to know what's really happening.
What I do know is that my money doesn't go as far as it used to.
