tuscl

probably last time at a club

Don't want this to be a big bummer but my brother in law is dying of leukemia. He's at the stage of trying to get into a Stage 1 FDA trial (not accepted yet); so this xmas we're heading down to visit. Will be based in the Naples area but a last road trip is a possible option depending on how he'd doing (casinos are also a draw/excuse). We've done a couple of clubs in Wi, but his favorite visit was when we were in Puerto Vallarto (Candy's in the Marina district if anyone knows it). I don't know if there is club that might give him a last (damn) send off, but in PV he mentioned that it was nice to know the equipment still worked.

So, any recommendations on a day/night trip from Naples where he can, if he wants, have a last one. Yes, he is my BIL, but hey - what can I say?

I you are taking Naples, Florida, a trip east to Miami, or north to Tampa is needed. Miami is much closer.

Sorry to hear about your brother-in-law. I wish you two the best.

My TUSCL buddy in Ft Myers would recommend "Babes". If you have the time, drive to Miami and hit "Tootsies".

Tootsies is definitely what I would choose if I could for my last strip club visit. It's light-years beyond anything you would find around Naples or Fort Myers.

2 hours to Miami; 2.5 to Tampa.......... I would do Tampa to see Mons (famous) and maybe Scarletts (action).

I have talked to people who took the boat to Key West from the Ft. Myers / Naples area and said it was a blast. Some decent clubs in Key West too and something to remember: http://www.seakeywestexpress.com/

Sorry to hear about your brother. My fingers are crossed that he will be accepted for the FDA trial (and won't be in the control group)

I've been to Tampa many times, but never to Miami, so my opinions are skewed. But I will say that most wives probably wouldn't be horrified by Mons. Pretty girls, lap dances, nothing more...

So if that is a concern for your BIL that would be the way to go.

You could motor further north to the Pasco clubs on your own!

Hit Miami – nice weather – beaches – casinos – everglades – South Beach – etc

    SCs in South Florida –

+ Tootsies – lots of dancers and extras in VIP

+ Scarlett’s – nice mix of dancers and some say the best looking dancers but mileage is so-so and extras are non-existent

+ Cheetah Hallandale - 2 minutes from Scarlett’s and a pretty decent club (Tootsies; Scarlett’s; Cheetah Hallandale within 10 minutes by car)

+ Cheetah Pompano – 30 minutes north of Miami – lots of good looking dancers but not sure about extras

+ Diamond Dolls (Pompano) – nice club with nice dancers and extras

    Best wishes for your brother!

So as a follow-up, we headed to Miami Jan 29-30. First stop was Tootsie's for the Monday 'prime rib' lunch. A nice lunch for the price, but prime rib it wasn't ;-)
Entertainment on the other hand was superb. And Champagne Room lived up to all reputations. Great suggestions from all.
After a great dinner at La Rosa, BiL felt so good he wanted to hit another club. Bad choice - we headed to Booby Trap. Trap is the key word and it was the bust of 2014. Don't bother. Don't bother. Don't bother.

Again, thanks everyone. Results came back and BiL is down >50% in lymph node size. He said they named the drug - always a good sign for a stage 1 trial. (no one wants a name associated with something that doesn't work).

“… A nice lunch for the price, but prime rib it wasn't ;-) …”

I rarely eat at a SC and when I do it is more out of convenience (i.e. I’m at the club already and really hungry).

I was @ Tootsies on Monday 1/12/15 watching the college football championship game and had the Monday $5.95 Prime Rib dinner special – and yeah – it was “eatable” but not very good – not even the baked potato nor veggies that came w/ it were very good.

Others times @ Tootsies I’ve had the $20 Filet Mignon and it’s been better but nothing to write home about (with the Filet Mignon I’ll usually have the mashed potatoes and broccoli that are ok but again nothing to write home about).

Wishing your brother the best and wish he makes a full recovery and can keep on SCing!!!

Thanks everyone! Just talked to my sister and she said my BiL is even doing better than when we saw him in December. This is, for him, a miracle drug. We're hoping that everything continues!

Will see him again in April when we visit my father for his 87th birthday. Another trip may be in the works.

    Appreciate all the heartfelt comments.
