DIXON, Mo. (AP) - A Missouri strip club owner is facing 10 misdemeanor charges accusing him of allowing dancers to perform topless, allowing alcohol to be consumed at the club and keeping the business open later than the law allows.

Officers with the Pulaski County Sheriff's Office raided After Dark Gentlemen's Club in Dixon on Oct. 11 after a lengthy investigation that revealed dancers who performed topless or totally nude, sometimes after midnight.

Club owner Matthew Wagner, 33, of Dixon, was charged Tuesday with five counts of allowing dancers to be nude or semi-nude, three counts of being open after midnight and two counts of selling alcohol.

The Missouri Supreme Court in 2011 upheld a 2010 state law that banned nudity, alcohol and touching between scantily clad employees and customers in sexually oriented business.

Gods, I'm glad I don't live there anymore. Was kind of cool in the 90s, but now? What a joke.

Never been there but I thought St Louis had decent strip clubs. Either I'm wrong, the law doesn't apply in St Louis, or maybe you have to go across state lines

Stupid, ignorant,judgmental pricks.

St. Louis has no strip clubs worth visiting. The whole state of Missouri is almost a strip club wasteland, though I had a very nice time at a club in Columbia -- topless, lots of touching, including on stage -- about a year and a half ago. I believe that some fun can also be had in Kansas City, MO. The strip clubs near St. Louis that are actually fun to visit are all on the Illinois side of the Mississippi in Brooklyn, Sauget, Centerville, and, especially, Washington Park, which has about 4000 inhabitants, mostly poor and black, and 9 high-mileage strip clubs.

Don't know what a stun grenade is and what it can do?

It would serve them right if some customers sued the hell out of them for scaring the shit out of them.
