Three men are hospitalized, one of them in critical condition, after they were shot early Sunday outside a strip club in West Philadelphia.

Officers responded shortly after midnight to a report of a shooting on the 5200 block of Delancey Street, around the corner from go-go bar Cousin Danny’s Exotic Haven{Danny's Place}. At least one of the initial calls for help referenced the club, according to investigators.

The arriving officers encountered a large crowd and found an unconscious man lying in the street, suffering from multiple gunshot wounds to his torso, police said.

He was rushed to the Hospital of the University of Pennsylvania, where he was taken into the operating room and listed in critical condition.

A second man, 47, flagged down officers less than a block away, on the 300 block of South 52nd Street, police said.

He had been shot once each in his right leg and left ankle and was admitted to the Hospital of the University of Pennsylvania in stable condition.

About 10 minutes after the initial 911 call, officers responded to Mercy Philadelphia Hospital, where a 24-year-old man had walked into the emergency room with a gunshot wound to his right leg, police said. He was also placed in stable condition.

One of the victims told investigators that he heard gunshots as he walked along the 5200 block of Delancey Street but did not see anyone shooting.

It wasn’t immediately clear what sparked the outbreak of violence, and police reported no arrests.

From a review of the club ---

"Honestly, no dances, no clothing removal, a 350 pound dancer what more could you want in a strip club? Oh wait there was no stripping"

It's a black club. What a shock.

Has there ever been a shooting at a better club that knowledgeable guys actually go to? It always seems to be at some shit hole that no dancer with teeth would work at.
