  I think conversation during a VIP is awkward so I'm thankful that most don't engage in it.   Most of the things described here, short of the customer's pants coming down, could easily be done in the main seating area. If a dancer does it that way, she gets all of the money. None goes to the house. Likewise if she is going to start getting physically affectionate in the main seating area, then she does not have to get any agreement about it. She doesn't even need to ask permission. She can just do. Most guys will be willing to give her table dancing / sitting tips and to play along with her. Even a guy who does not want to play, will still probably give her something. But most guys will be willing to play, and to play with any of the dancers. Where I have seen something like this was in the underground table dancing circuit which operated in some Mexican Bars. There the girls just come around and begin doing what they want to do. If you don't start tipping them they will indicate that they want you to. Most guys will start feeding her money and playing along. It doesn't have quite the same meaning when it is done in front of people. It is partly just horse play, becoming part of the show with the girl. The girls make more money this way because it all goes to them, and because they don't need to get the guy to agree to anything. It is money in smaller increments, but it quickly adds up. They are metering in money for 60 min out of every hour. They basically like the guys, and so they want to offer themselves as they can to each guy. At one of the shows the talent agents started the show by having one of their male friends dance with one of the girls on the club's dance floor. It was to show that guys should not be afraid of becoming part of the show. Now at one of the clubs, before I knew about it, the girls were doing FS right there in the main room. Then later they started bringing their own mini-van. People have written about the early days of high mileage in Texas.   The clubs we have in Santa Clara County and San Mateo County are strictly no touching. There are very few abrogations of this. But we have at various times had this underground table dancing circuit which operated in Mexican Bars. This was not strictly no touching.
