Chase Bank is closing the accounts of hundreds of people who work in the adult industry, according to multiple reports
Celebrity blogger Perez Hilton posted images of the letters reportedly sent to stars in the adult industry informing them of the account closings. Hilton reported that the accounts would be closed on May 11, 2014.

Its all because of new banking regulations that enforce banks to "know there customer" ( KYC regulations) which prohibit banks from accepting deposits they can't verify as totally legit, such as tax reported on income etc, banks would rather reject customers then risk being in violation of these rules. All stems out of Anti-Money Laundering regulations.
Id the girls were paid by check, even from "ABC Strip Club" that would be OK, but constant deposit of currency is the issue.
Not defending the banks at all, just adding some info.
I worry every time I deposit a large amount of cash even when its a rent payment into my landlord's account. I know I should use the bank but I am fearful of it honestly. I bet the porn stars have quite a bit of money in the bank too. But they probobly receive payment in checks whereas dancers have cash instead.
