A man was fatally stabbed in the parking lot of a Davenport strip club early Saturday morning, according to police.
Davenport Police officers were called to The Chorus Line, 4128 Brady St. about 3:50 a.m., and discovered the man, who hasn't been identified, with what were described as serious injuries.
The victim was treated at the scene and taken to Genesis Medical Center, East Campus where he died.
Detectives are investigating and an autopsy will be scheduled, according to police
Few details have been released by police. Police personnel were back at the Chorus Line Saturday afternoon to look at surveillance video and look for evidence along Harrison Street.
Police are still trying to contact family members before releasing the man's name.
Isn't this the club in Davenport which the city tried closing up, but then the courts said they should be allowed to reopen? I vaguely remember reading about one here once. Anyway, I shouldn't say this, but there's Idiots Out Wandering Around in Davenport.
