PORTLAND -- A stabbing was reported outside a Portland strip club early Monday morning, but the victim has not been located, police said.

Police were called just after 1:30 a.m. to the report of a fight and stabbing outside Sassy's Bar & Grill, at 927 Southeast Morrison Street, said Portland police Sgt. Pete Simpson.

Officers found and detained the suspect, but the victim was gone by the time they arrived at the scene.

A witness told police the victim walked away, suffering from a stab wound, Simpson said.

The victim was described as white, in his early 20s, about 6 feet tall, 175 pounds, with shaggy, medium-length blonde hair. He was wearing a gray hoodie.

Anyone with information about the stabbing was asked to call assault detectives at 503-823-0400.
