JACKSONVILLE, Fla. -- A man was shot and killed inside Mascara's Gentleman's Club on Jacksonville's Southside Sunday morning, according to detectives.

Police were called to the 3200 block of Southside Boulevard around 4 a.m. in reference to the shooting and found the man dead upon arrival.

The Jacksonville Sheriff's Office interviewed witnesses at the scene are still trying to nail down possible suspects.

Detectives say they are looking into why there were people still at the club several hours after its 2 a.m. scheduled closing.
