A 27-year-old man was shot in the leg and hospitalized after a shooting in a downtown Minneapolis strip club early Sunday, March 3.

The incident occurred near 2 a.m. inside Augie's Bourbon Street Cabaret on Hennepin Avenue, Sgt. William Palmer said.

A second person was hurt as people fled the strip club, said Sgt. Stephen McCarty.

Both men were taken to Hennepin County Medical Center, Palmer said.

Police believe there is no danger to the public, Palmer said.

The incident is under investigation.
