LOUISVILLE, KY (WAVE) – Shively police are on the scene of a deadly shooting outside a strip club.
Officers responding to a report of shots fired at the Dollhouse Gentlemen's Club at 7th Street and Berry Boulevard around 2 a.m. Thursday discovered a man in the parking lot who had been shot several times, according to the Shively Police Department. The man died. The coroner arrived on the scene around 5:30 a.m.
Police said the victim had been inside the club earlier in the evening. Investigators are questioning others who were there and have taken several of them to police headquarters. It is not immediately clear whether they are suspects or witnesses. So far, no one has been arrested.
We can take heart in knowing the majority of crimes of this sort are committed by one criminal against another. Just gotta be savvy and lucky enough to stay out of the crossfire.
