Shootout in Tampa.

Tampa police are investigating an early morning shootout at a gentleman's club on 50th Street.

It happened at the Playpen Gentlemen's Club just before 5 a.m. According to investigators, a man walked into the club and robbed the cashier and another man at gunpoint.

But when the suspect left the club, the man who had been robbed grabbed a rifle, and along with the club manager, who was also armed, opened fire on the suspect. A shootout ensued, and the club manager was even grazed in the arm, police said.

It's unclear if the suspect was hit. He fled the parking lot in a vehicle, and police are still looking for him.

    Another reason to stick with the Mons Venus

    It's on Dale Mabry just a few blocks from the Bucs football stadium. Pretty safe.

    2001 is right across the street, also very safe. Lipstixx and Scarlett's have never been a problem either (other than some girls at the stixx being rough around the edges). Don't worry about Tampa. No worse than any other metro area, jes' use common sense!

    What pisses me off is that they didn't kill that fucker. How could have the first shot not hit that fucker in the back?
