Shootout in Tampa.

TAMPA (FOX 13) - Tampa police are investigating an early morning shootout at a gentleman's club on 50th Street.

It happened at the Playpen Gentlemen's Club just before 5 a.m. According to investigators, a man walked into the club and robbed the cashier and another man at gunpoint.

But when the suspect left the club, the man who had been robbed grabbed a rifle, and along with the club manager, who was also armed, opened fire on the suspect. A shootout ensued, and the club manager was even grazed in the arm, police said.

It's unclear if the suspect was hit. He fled the parking lot in a vehicle, and police are still looking for him.

2001 is right across the street, also very safe. Lipstixx and Scarlett's have never been a problem either (other than some girls at the stixx being rough around the edges). Don't worry about Tampa. No worse than any other metro area, jes' use common sense!
