HOUSTON -- Houston police are investigating a fatal shooting that happened in the parking lot of a nightclub in southwest Houston.
According to Sr. HPD Homicide officer Dan Arnold, the victim got into a dispute with an unknown person in the nightclub parking lot in the 11900 block of Bissonnet.
The unidentified suspect pulled out a gun shot the victim several times. The suspect fled the scene in a tan vehicle.
The victim was described as a Hispanic male in his late teens or early 20s. He was at the nightclub with a close friend.
Police said they are interviewing several witnesses and believe more people may have witnessed the shooting.
"This parking lot was full, probably 100 people," said Arnold. "Everybody left, but we have three people we're talking to right now downtown."
Police said the area has a history of problems, from fights to shootings.
