Big fire destroys businesses on Alexis and Telegraph

TOLEDO, OH (WTOL) - Firefighters remain on scene of a big fire at the Northridge Plaza retail complex at Alexis and Telegraph in Toledo.

All roads in the area are now open after the intersection remained closed much of the morning.

There are 10 businesses in the complex. Platinum Showgirls exotic dance club is destroyed as well as a diner. The extent of damage to remaining businesses is not yet known.

The same shopping plaza also caught fire in July of 2008.

    It is a top rated club here in Ohio. I had a good time there a couple months ago on my way to Detroit. Full nude stage show, free buffet, and no cover before 7pm.

    I am glad I was able to visit this club at least once before it closed. I hope they will reopen it. In the mean time there is Scarlett's down the street.
