2 Women Facing Prostitution Charges After Raid at Strip Club

PHARR - Two women are facing prostitution charges. They were among half a dozen people pulled from a Valley strip club.

This is a story submitted to CHANNEL 5 NEWS by viewers. Several viewers told of a possible raid at the Stiletto Gentleman's Club in Pharr.

Two women, 29-year-old Elizeth Hinojosa and 26-year-old Cayatana Reyna were arrested. Officers say Hinojosa and Reyna took them into the champagne room, where the women are accused of offering sex in exchange for money.

There may be more to this story. CHANNEL 5 NEWS contacted several police agencies. Immigrations and Customs Enforcement agents say six people were taken out of the club. We don't know any other crime authorities who may be investigating. Immigrations and Customs Enforcement spokeswoman Nina Pruneda told us ICE Homeland Security investigators will work to see if those in custody are in the country legally.

The business is still open, but they won't comment.

Agents and investigators are still conducting interviews to make sure they were not used as prostitutes for human trafficking.

    At the extras friendly club where I am VIP this goes on all the time upstairs in VIP. Unfortunately our lame society cant recognize the fact its natural and normal for women to seek money for sex. Regardless of the relationship, there is no such thing as free pussy.

    Extras happen at a lot of clubs in the vip room. You drop the cash on the table they dish out the pussy. thats the way its been. Nothing is free these days

    More heroes saving adults from themselves - really. I wonder how much they money spent, including police manhours, to get to the point of busting two girls on misdemeanor prostitution charges.

    One more night that violent felons dodging arrest warrants were able to sleep easy in Rio Grande Valley, TX. ;)
