PHARR - Two women are facing prostitution charges. They were among half a dozen people pulled from a Valley strip club.
This is a story submitted to CHANNEL 5 NEWS by viewers. Several viewers told of a possible raid at the Stiletto Gentleman's Club in Pharr.
Two women, 29-year-old Elizeth Hinojosa and 26-year-old Cayatana Reyna were arrested. Officers say Hinojosa and Reyna took them into the champagne room, where the women are accused of offering sex in exchange for money.
There may be more to this story. CHANNEL 5 NEWS contacted several police agencies. Immigrations and Customs Enforcement agents say six people were taken out of the club. We don't know any other crime authorities who may be investigating. Immigrations and Customs Enforcement spokeswoman Nina Pruneda told us ICE Homeland Security investigators will work to see if those in custody are in the country legally.
The business is still open, but they won't comment.
Agents and investigators are still conducting interviews to make sure they were not used as prostitutes for human trafficking.
