TAIPEI, Taiwan — Playboy Enterprises will set up its first Asian flagship store in Taipei at the end of October to cash in on the great consumer market potential in the capital city of Taiwan.

Playboy, one of the most recognized and popular consumer brands in the world, yesterday kicked off a program to recruit an official salesgirl for the flagship store. The company said it is looking for attractive women who are aged over 18, love the Playboy brand, and boast aggressive marketing abilities to file online applications at http://playboy.events.pixnet.net/ before the deadline of Oct. 19.

Those who are recruited will be allowed to enjoy a monthly pay of NT$100,000, a monthly clothing allowance of NT$5,000, as well as model training courses.

The organizer of the event will announce the list of final candidates for the official salesgirl at the flagship store on Oct. 26, and conduct the final contest on Oct. 29 to determine the lucky winners.

The winner will be the sales representative of the flagship store, and the other four of the top five will be granted NT$5,000 worth of clothing coupon each.

Sam, why wasn't the 'flagship Asian store' opened 20+ years ago (possibly in Japan since they've been U.S.-friendly for quite sometime)?

good question CT...probably because they have not been as desperate for new business until now. Japan or South Korea would have been good choices.

NT$105,000 is around $3405 U.S.. They will make a killing with this new venture.
