A Rundown on some of my favs:

A lot of these gals are moving into escorting as guys are ditching going to the clubs to find pussy and just going directly to online escorting ads like backpage.com

I still like going to the club to chill or just find some different stuff. Gals know what the backpage.com gals are asking and will vary their rates on how they feel they stack up.

I wouldn't say that I have seen a big turn over but there has definitely been an increase in mileage. I have a dozen favorites at my favorite club. Some I have known for 6 or more years. They are doing shit that I wouldn't have dreamed of when I first met them.Prices are generally up but I have been able to hold the line with my favorites.

Can't say I've noticed a mass exodus. My favorite club has lost a handful of hot 18 year olds due to pregnancy, but they're always bringing in new talent. Job market is terrible here, so there aren't a lot of options for non-college bound women.

And mileage has increased. Every lap dance is now a full on grope and makeout fest.

No exodus in these parts either. Girls come and go with the money and this recession has been bad, but most of my favorites keep a good fold of regulars to keep the money rolling in.

Whores come and go. Strip club business is not what it used to be so it's probably harder for them to make a long term "career" out of it.

In Vegas (always big on tourists) they're lining up at the doors to pick your carcass clean.

It's hard to say there is a mass exodus here in the midwest. I know one of my faves quit after she had her baby and moved somewhere far enough away that I wouldn't expect to see her again there. One quit because legal issues were getting in the way. I know a few have quit at my #2 club, but I have made recent visits to the local bikini/pastie bars and seen some of them at those places.

you guys should be happy for them :) stripping is not something you can depend on forever. One day we have to grow up and live normal lives. It's not easy to adjust to (unless you meet that guy that takes you out of the hell hole and into a fairy tale which almost never happens). I'm just saying stipping should just be a stepping stone...if you fav dancers have moved on to better things. be happy for them :)

It should be a stepping stone, a brief stop before a better future. However, it rarely works that way. I've seen girls go from the strip club to the escort service. And I've seen them quit the stripping biz and come back. Dayshift @ most clubs here is depressing. Lots of strippers in their 40s still going at it.

yes you are right (potheadpl)...once women see how easy the money is. I suppose it's difficult walk away from. I have also seen women in their 40's still dancing... I suppose as long as their is a market for them they might as well. Right? lol

It's getting almost like a take-out escort service at some clubs. And that will get clubs hit by LE.

sjc, potheadpi: Agree. I'm sad to see favs go but alsos happy when they move on to better things and it works out successfully. Every dancer should have an exit strategy and if possible, a timetable in mind. Some do, but for many it's not that easy.... On coming back--I'm close to a former dancer who just burned out and was ready to move on but is now comtemplating returning because of the potential money/cash flow relative to a real-world job, even in these underperform,oing times of SC payouts. It's really depressing her, but she may not have a choice unless something comes up. In the meantime she's getting into a college program.

"I've seen women in their 40's"... Just encountered one yesterday. She had spent time is two big cities dancing but was now back to her roots for family reasons but not a marraige or relationsip as she explained it. The interesting thing that came out was that she had danced for several years but was coming back only afdter a 10 year hiatus! Imagne the potential factors behind that decision.

I agree stripping should be a stepping stone for them. The saddest thing is to see them still stripping in their mid to late 40's like no other option came along.

My ATF is 28 and common law married (officially in March) and if she is doing me itc / otc then she is probably doing others. She likes sex and the tax free money from what she does. She does not believe in monogamy and her marriage will not change our meeting she says. I see her doing stripping / escort thru 35 or until she gets her law degree.

However, I have seen them leave stripping abruptly (finishing school, gettin married, etc.) so its not easy to predict.
