<div style="margin: 0in 0in 0pt;">This is a posting on some RI Asian Massage Parlors (AMPs) that I have been to or heard of. RI <b>had</b> a loophole in their laws that went back to the 1980s that basically said that prostitution was legal as long as it was done indoors. They <i>closed this loophole</i> in late 2009 though, and now the penalty is a <u><i>misdemeanor crime</i></u> punishable, for first-time offenders, by up to 6 months in prison or a fine of up to $1,000, or both. However, the law empowers judges to erase the criminal convictions of first-time offenders but <b>not</b> for customers! See here:<br />

<div style="margin: 0in 0in 0pt;">Let’s start with a few <b>basics</b> about AMPs that I’ve heard of before:</div>
<div style="margin: 0in 0in 0pt;"> </div>
<div style="margin: 0in 0in 0pt;">-they say to never let the person that initially greets you know that you’ve never been to that establishment before. I’ve always been honest, and it usually doesn’t seem to diminish my experiences so far. In places where things are illegal, this might be a way to not be labeled as a potential narc.</div>
<div style="margin: 0in 0in 0pt;"> </div>
<div style="margin: 0in 0in 0pt;">-the standard, upfront “<b>house fee</b>” usually runs $60-80/hour. Some places might have other fees for longer or shorter stays, but an hour’s stay is the standard fare. The mama-san that greets you or the girl that escorts you to your room will usually ask for this fee ahead of time.</div>

<div style="margin: 0in 0in 0pt;">-they say that it’s a good idea to allow the person that will be “servicing” you to see you naked during or just after you initially get undressed...this will usually happen after they collect the “house fee” from you. The reason given for doing this is to send the clear message that you are there to have some “fun”. Some places have a separate changing area with locked lockers, and other places have you get undressed in a private room. Some places may also provide you with a robe & slippers or a clear, plastic “purse” that you can carry your valuables around in. I’ve never had a problem with stealing at any AMP that I’ve been to so far, but the staff can have a tendency to go through your things to see how much money you have to spend and whatnot. I always just carry cash with no ID or cards or other valuables with me when I enter an AMP.</div>

<div style="margin: 0in 0in 0pt;">-the <b>Table Shower</b> (TS) is a standard event during a visit to an AMP. You can opt out of it in some places, but I’ve always found it to be a very pleasant experience. You should never allow the older mama-san to give you a TS...have the person that is “servicing” you that day do it! Always allow the provider time to rinse off the (sometimes padded) table with warm water before lying face down. She’ll scrub and rinse your entire body from neck to toe (literally, it’s rare that I’ve ever gotten my hair wet), then flip you over...getting every nook and cranny of you clean. They may ask if it’s OK to wash your most prized “jewels” beforehand. The girl will usually do the TS while fully-clothed (even wearing rubber boots sometimes), but you may occasionally run across a place that does them nude. Nude TS's (especially at Thai establishments) can even have what's called an "<b>Asian Body Slide</b>", which is where the girl slides her body across your naked body...both while you are face down <i>and</i> face up! Expect to thoroughly get toweled off by her after the TS as well.</div>

<div style="margin: 0in 0in 0pt;">-either before or after the TS, expect to be asked if you want to go into a hot/dry or steam <b>sauna</b> (if they have one)...you generally do want to do this. It’s a good way to dry off thoroughly after a TS, and it only takes a few minutes. </div>

<div style="margin: 0in 0in 0pt;">-after getting back to your room, expect the lights to come down lower and you to be placed naked, face down on a massage-type table. Sometimes they will cover you up completely or partially, and sometimes the massage won’t be much of a real massage...just a rub down. You may see references to “bodywork”, “reflexology”, or “relaxation” in AMP ads...this is the “massage” part. This is also the weak point in many AMP operations as a lot of states require massage certifications which the girls, for some reason, find a hard time getting. You can always call ahead and ask for a particular girl that does massage or just a good girl that you’ve heard about. <b>For no reason should you feel pressured to accept service from someone that you don’t want to...it’s your money.</b> They usually don’t accept phone calls unless you turn off the privacy option that won’t display your phone number at their end...this is to cut down on Law Enforcement calls. Walk-ins are usually always welcome at AMPs though...so you need not call ahead unless you really want to. You may frequently see a long, metal pole over the bed area where the massage takes place. This is there in case the girl wants to walk on your back and/or legs while holding onto the pole for balance. I once had a girl work my butt muscles over with her knees, and it was quite something. Foot massages are pretty standard fare as well, and the massage services may continue after any "extra" services have been completed.</div>

<div style="margin: 0in 0in 0pt;">-the point of anxiety for most people is “<b>the flip</b>”...the point at which the massage part of your backside (maybe not literally) ends and the “fun” begins. Some places are known for CFS...some only give HJs or CBJs. You’ll be asked some plain question like, “Can I do anything else for you baby?” Expect to be called “baby” a lot actually...lol... I usually just answer “everything” or you can point to certain spots or just be as blunt as you want to. I’ve almost never been asked to “tip” upfront, but that may happen as well...along with some haggling on price if you want. What should you pay? As little or as much as you’d like to...I’ve heard of everything from an extra $30-200. Sometimes you’ll see AMP reviews where they’ll mention some kind of “code”, like $.4 (which means $140) or .6 (which means $60), etc., etc.</div>

<div style="margin: 0in 0in 0pt;">-most AMP girls can be very <b>GFE</b> in the way that they treat and speak to you...hugging, kissing, holding your hand, etc., but as is always the case...YMMV!</div>

<div style="margin: 0in 0in 0pt;">-expect to most likely be assisted in getting your clothes back on after you are all done...you can either sit back and relax or help her out.</div>

<div style="margin: 0in 0in 0pt;">-how old is the girl who’s “servicing” you? The rule is to add about 10 years to the age that you think she is, or 15 years to the actual age that she might give you if you ask. Asian women age well though in general. Breast implants on AMP girls are hit-or-miss though. </div>

<div style="margin: 0in 0in 0pt;">OK, now for some places that I’ve been to (allegedly...lol...):</div>

<div style="margin: 0in 0in 0pt;"><b><u>Downtown Spa</u></b></div>
<div style="margin: 0in 0in 0pt;">This place has moved to the Second Floor of 385 South Main Street (right behind the old Barnsider restaurant) in Providence. The new location is very nice with a lot of girls to choose from. You might have seen references to this place as being "Downtown Accupressure" or the "Custom House" before (401-553-5800). It’s new location is still near the Providence River (where the WaterFire is held) and the main downtown square. It’s a Korean place that offers everything up to and including CFS & prostate massage. There is now both available on-street, pay parking and private parking behind the building near the old Barnsider on South Water Street. “Hanna” was a very good Service Provider here, and the house fee here was $60. "Jen" was an older gal but very GFE-like...she had a messed up boob job & asked for an upfront tip of at least $150.</div>

<span><u><b>Harmony Spa</b></u><br />
Located near the corner of Benefit Street, Broadway (US-1), and the George R. Bennett Hwy (the old "Industrial Hwy") in Pawtucket (401-725-4811) at <span style="visibility: visible;" id="main"><span style="visibility: visible;" id="search">11 Benefit Street #A</span></span>, which is in a small strip mall between a restaurant & a laundromat. Take Exit 1 in MA off of I-95 South to Benefit Street & then take a Left. This small establishment used to be called "National Spa" (and it used to be a carpet store!), and it's located across the street from a small, concrete park with street & limited strip mall parking available. The neighborhood is a tad on the sketchy side, but the service was excellent...with everything up to and including CFS, prostate massage, DATY, rimming, and an excellent massage available for an upfront tip of around $150. They've had a 10% off coupon in the Providence Phoenix before (see below), and the house fee is $50.</span><br />
<br />
<b><u>Pleasant Street Spa</u></b></div>
<div style="margin: 0in 0in 0pt;">This place is located just south of downtown Pawtucket under the apparently rickety I-95 bridge...right next to the Blackstone River (401-728-1700). It’s right next to a hardware store (you can use their parking after a certain time at night) at 88 Pleasant Street. You will have to buzz to get past the reception area and into the locker room area. This is the place to go to get a great, high-level massage, but there are HJs available only here. The girl I saw was very attentive, but she stayed fully-clothed the whole time...mutual all over touching was allowed though. The house fee was $70/hour here.</div>

<div style="margin: 0in 0in 0pt;"><b><u>Central Health</u></b></div>
<div style="margin: 0in 0in 0pt;">Central Health is one of the nicest AMPs that I've come across in RI yet (401-351-1611). It’s really not located at 76 Derry Street (which is a dead-end), but rather down the hill from there just off Oriental Street (no kidding), which is off of Whipple Street...which is in between the main thoroughfares of Douglas Avenue & Admiral Street, just off Route 146 in Providence. There are some signs to follow...it’s around in back of a brick building in an industrial-type area. There is off-street parking available. You may deal with a non-Asian at the door, and you will likely be asked to sign some kind of "agreement" for only a "relaxation" experience (for a $60 house fee, now with <b>a photo ID required</b>)...not really a massage at all. The inside of the building was very nice, and it was a FS, Korean establishment. One girl that I saw was called Kate-something or another...I can't remember, and "Bebe" was a pretty good & very pretty provider. The sauna experience is now apparently to be had on your own, and full massages are only available here by appointment ahead of time.</div>

<div style="margin: 0in 0in 0pt;"><b><u>Lily Spa</u> </b></div>
<div style="margin: 0in 0in 0pt;">Located at 375 Admiral Street in Providence, near the intersection with Douglas Avenue...the building is very small & they have off-street parking (401-274-6655 or 401-274-8188) available. I believe it is a Japanese establishment (I didn't ask for any names or info on this) with only a HJ available. The entrance to this very small place is in the back & up a ramp. Go through one door and buzz to be allowed in by the mama-san. She will escort you to one of the half-dozen or so rooms and ask for the $60 house fee. After getting undressed in that room, your provider will arrive and escort you to the TS area (if you want to go) and then to the dry sauna. The service here is basically like the Pleasant Street Spa...only with more, better looking girls. The spa is a small rectangular building with the massage rooms along the left-hand wall, the 2-3 TS rooms & dry sauna along the right-hand wall, and what appeared to be some administration/provider changing areas way over on the right, back side & way at the front of the building. </div>

<strong><u>Japan Spa<br />
</u></strong>This place is located in a very seedy section of south Providence at 1021 Broad Street on the Second Floor (401-781-0899). Take Exit 18 off of I-95 and go West until you reach Broad Street, then turn Left. There was no outside signage that I could see...just look for the small door with the "1021" in neon above it (the door had some writing on it about a modeling agency inside the building somewhere). They apparently have cameras located somewhere in the building, because when I eventually found a door that had a small sign next to it that said "Ring Bell"...the door immediately opened and I was greeted by a very young girl that looked even better than the provider that I saw here. They also claim to have "private parking behind the building", but I didn't see any...just street parking available at your own risk. This is an up to & including CFS, Japanese establishment that's basically one long corridor with rooms on either side...the TS & sauna rooms are on the left just after you enter. They asked for a tip upfront after the nude TS/Body Slide/sauna was completed, but the original house fee was $60. My 40-something Service Provider was very GFE here.<br />

<strong><u>One Spa<br />
</u></strong>This is a relatively new establishment located on Federal Hill in Providence at 55 Bradford Street on the Third Floor (401-274-1565). Take I-95 South to Exit 21 and go West to Bradford Street on the immediate Right...the first two hours of street parking is usually free around there. You'll need to look for the glass door opening with the "55" above it, as there is no other signage on the building. Ascend the stairs to the 3rd floor, then take a quick Left onto that floor and a quick Right into the lobby area of this AMP. There's a camera located just above that floor's elevator entrance as well. Not sure if they have more than one TS/sauna area, but the one that I went to was located in the very back of this (Korean?) establishment. The sauna was a tad on the lukewarm side, but expect to be accompanied in it by your provider as well. The house fee is $60 here, and I even got a kind-of "dry" body slide during the massage. Everything up to and including CFS is available here for the "right" tip amount. The ladies that I saw here were very nice, mostly young, and pretty..."Eve" was an excellent Service Provider. They've had a coupon for $10 off in the Providence Phoenix (see below).<br />
<br />
<span><u><b>Daily Spa</b></u><br />
Located at 508 Armistice Boulevard (RI-15) in Pawtucket (401-721-9974) with a $60 house fee & parking located either on the street or diagonally across the street in a small parking lot. This AMP is located in a storefront just West of the US-1 (Newport Avenue) & RI-15 intersection. The TS area here was kind of dirty, and there was no sauna available here either. The massage was just OK, but the provider was very young & pretty. This place appears to have gone "legit" recently since the RI law change mentioned far above, since they had signs posted that asked for customers not to solicit </span>for any "illicit or illegal acts". As always, with several visits, YMMV.<br />

</u></b></div>
<div style="margin: 0in 0in 0pt;">Also used to be known as the “QQ” or "Richmond Street Spa", located at 81 Richmond Street on the 2nd Floor in downtown Providence...near the corner with Friendship Street, North of I-195 Exit 1 (401-421-8181). It is now apparently a mostly non-Asian (mostly American girls) establishment with up to and including CFS available...the quality of women can vary though. The house fee is apparently $60. <u><b>Century Spa</b></u><br />
Located in a brown, brick-faced building at 150 Warren Avenue in East Providence (401-688-8696) at the corner with South Phillips Street. They've had a $10 off coupon in Providence Phoenix (see below). Take Exit 6 off of I-195 West, then take a Left at the end of the ramp onto Broadway & then a quick Right onto Warren Avenue to get here. The building appeared to be for sale or lease at the end of 2009, and there did not appear to be any other businesses in the building.<br />

<u><b>Far East</b></u><br />
Located at 72 East Street in Pawtucket (401-725-0111) just West of the I-95 overpass. Take Exit 30 off of I-95 South onto Middle Street, then make a Right onto East Street to get here quickly. There's apparently a $60 house fee here, and they've had a $10 off coupon in the Providence Phoenix (see below). This place used to be called "Far East Accupressure", but I'm not sure if it's still open as of early 2010.<br />

<u><b>North Main Street Spa</b></u><br />
Located at 1185 North Main Street (US-1) in Providence (401-453-6677). Take I-95 Exit 25 & go East down Smithfield Avenue (RI-126), then turn Right onto Nashua Street, Left onto Frost Street, and then Left again onto US-1 North. There is both limited on & off-street parking available here along this divided street. They've advertised for "outcalls by appointment" as well, and there's a very good (albeit expensive) Asian restaurant located right across the street from here.<br />
<br />
<b><u>JJ Tuina Bodywork</u></b></div>
<div style="margin: 0in 0in 0pt;">Located at 30 Pontiac Avenue in south Providence (which can be kind of a rough area at night)...just off Route 10 at the intersection of Route 2 opposite Ocean State Plaza (401-688-8568). This is apparently a Chinese establishment where a CBJ or HJ is available with lots of parking...apparently they know approximately zero words of English though, so you generally have to point to things to communicate here. </div>

<div style="margin: 0in 0in 0pt;"><b><u>Red Rose Spa</u></b></div>
<div style="margin: 0in 0in 0pt;">Located at 2 Pontiac Avenue in south Providence at the corner of Pontiac & Reservoir (Route 2) Avenues (401-919-0655). This place is apparently a very small Chinese spa that is FS, however very little English is spoken. It’s apparently about a 100 feet away from "JJ Tuina" on the same block across from Job Lot...with private parking and an entrance in the back. </div>

<b><u>Sundance Inc. Spa</u> </b></div>
<div style="margin: 0in 0in 0pt;">Located at 49 Sheridan Street in Central Falls (or “Sparkle City" as the locals call it), which is off Broad Street/Route 114 (401-722-8222). Central Falls is not the nicest place in RI...it used to be the cocaine capital of the Northeast. Word has it that this place is likely <i>closed</i> now.</div>

<div style="margin: 0in 0in 0pt;"><i>Formerly</i> located at 204 Westminster Street in downtown Providence, which was around the corner from the main square near City Hall and near the corner with Eddy Street (401-274-3773). Good luck finding a place to park downtown. This place has finally been<i> closed down</i> by the local politicians, but it may be operating under the same phone number at another address in the same city.</div>

<div style="margin: 0in 0in 0pt;"><b><u>Wanskuck</u></b><b><u> Wellness Center</u></b></div>
<div style="margin: 0in 0in 0pt;">Located at 725 Branch Avenue Suite #132 in the Wanskuck Complex across from Dunkin Donuts & McDonalds and next to a video store & the World’s Gym...just off Route 146 in Providence (401-831-8818). This place sounds like the hind-end of the AMP-world in RI...the women are rumored to be a bit old for the business. This place appeared be be <i>closed</i> as of late 2009.<br />
<br />
<u><b>Heavenly Hands Spa</b></u><br />
Located at 146 Admiral Street in Providence (401-688-9846), just Northwest of the Route 146 Exit for "Central Health". House fee was apparently around $50, but this place appeared to be closed down as of early 2010.<br />
<br />
<u><b>Sunflower Spa</b></u><br />
Located at 627 Douglas Avenue (RI-7) in Providence (401-744-7816) just North of Admiral Street & "Lily Spa" with apparent private parking & an entrance in the rear.<br />
