One Major Way Strip Clubs Break Social Norms

There are many ways in which some PLs value the way social norms are broken in the strip club. I think the rule breaking is a draw for certain strippers and PLs. However, I don't think some of what we think of as a norm being suspended actually fits that bill. One of the most notable norm breaks some of us associate with the club is that it allows men to exchange resources for hot female attention without games.

The idea is, how you look, carry yourself, who you actually are and what you actually do aren't relevant in the club. The only thing that matters is what you come in to spend. But uh, come on now. Men with significant discretionary income already have the option to get hot female attention with how they look, how they carry themselves, who they are and what they do being irrelevant because they have significant discretionary income without the strip club. Thats not breaking a social norm

What makes the dynamic of club out of the social ordinary is this exchange is done on the man's terms, if they act like a customer, and that's a totally acceptable practice in the club. For the record its also true men can and do control the same dynamics OTC, but the difference is the shaming, gaslighting and pressure society tries to put on guy for choosing to operate outside the happy wife happy life norms. Strippers neg, condecend and complain when men don't come to them ITC, but that same kind of approach for a stripper ITC results in strike out after strike out not affirmation.

Most of the guys on this site understand that dancers aren't into us, but I don't think dancers fake attraction because you can't fake attraction. I think what marks a dancer is just willingness. A willingness to perform the trappings of attraction and caring if well compensated. That's what makes it a service they sell. Dancers have to get your attention, figure out what you like, and do what you want to get your cash and keep your cash. That's the inverse of how male/female dynamics are expected to work outside the club normally.

Many people hate requirements, especially the generation most modern strippers are apart of. It annoys folks when the fact their very presence is not valuable is made clear to them. Many also hate comparison, especially comparison with people in their league, that can inflame or create resentment. And many people REALLY hate requirements and comparison when they don't have to deal with either as a normal part of their everyday life, or having to meet requirements of people they don't like or respect. Most dancers don't like and possibly don't respect most of there customers. Plus, tons of dancers are selfish to their core and resent having to do anything for anyone in any facet of life

So some dancers grow to resent that, for a living, they operate in a venue where their expectations aren't leverage, their standards and mindset aren't validated and their whims aren't going to be catered to, when OTC and dealing with men they have a shot to make that kind of approach work. Dancers can try to convince themselves or lie to their peers that they dictate the terms ITC and still get what they want. We know better than that. And that eats some of these women up inside. And I sort of get it how that can create frustration.

But of course alot of us have to deal with things we don't like at our job. But using your sexuality has to be different. That's why I try to be as nice as possible when I'm getting what I want and try not to waste a dancers time if I know that's not possible. I can't fathom having things that normally benefit me be flipped on its head, and that's what happens when dancers enter a space where beauty is not so much an advantage but a prerequisite, male desire dictates the flow and these ladies have to come to people they normally ignore to come out ahead.
