The other side of strip clubs

I spent a couple hours at Wacko's in Jacksonville FL this afternoon. Wacko's is a small, hole in the wall strip club that is in a strip shopping ctr just off I-95 near downtown JAX. It is technically a bikini bar, but the rules are fluid depending on the dancers. I have been here many times, and as I have stated in my reviews, the club is definitely hit or miss. It was very slow today, about 6-8 dancers and maybe 10 guys. As I sat at a table just off the runway type stage, I watched a procession of dancers in all shapes and sizes do their one dance set, then move on to the smaller stage at the end of the bar. From Ginger, a quirky beauty who was sexy as hell in an off the shoulder short dress, to Jocelyn, a heavy-set girl I have seen before who oozes confidence, to the requisite assortment of anorexic, flat-chested, tattoo covered dancers who filled out the afternoon shift. I tipped Ginger on stage a couple of times. She was flirty and sexy, flashed a nice set of boobs and had fun. I also tipped Amber, a busty 23 yr old who was a little more conservative, and Jocelyn.
Another dancer who caught my attention was a girl named Jazzy. She was young, oddly cute, with red hair, an average body at best, and a rather reserved dancing style. After I tipped her at the stage she came down and sat with me. We talked for over an hour. It was her first day at the club, and was bored. She had danced at a couple of the other JAX clubs. There was something about her. Come to find out she was 23, has two kids of her own under 3, and two step kids, also under three. She comes from a bad family background; her mom died when she was 4 and her dad died of a heroin overdose when she was 12. She basically raised herself with some help from one of her grandfathers. She moved to JAX about 6 months ago from Miami. She wants to stop dancing, but needs the money until she gets a call on one of the dozens of applications she has filled out for real jobs. The thing that struck me most was her attitude. She is determined to make a better life for herself and her kids. She is smart, both book and street. She seems to have what it takes to be successful if someone gives her a chance. She is willing to work hard. I felt bad when I had to tell her I didn't have enough money with me to have her dance for me. She took it in stride and stuck around for another 15 min before saying she needed to make some money. I understood.
I told you this to point out something. Before my discussion with Jazzy, a tall, thin, blonde "Barbie" dancer, who was dressed in a stupid costume and who wore sunglasses in the dark club, asked me if she could sit with me. Her whole aura had the "my shit don't stink" feeling. When I told her I preferred to sit alone, she looked at me like "How dare you? Don't you know who I am?" I was kind of happy I pissed her off. The time I spent talking to Jazzy was better than anything this fake, primadonna could have ever given me.
