How to get a “Burner” Phone and a “Burner” Identity.

To protect your privacy in your professional life, personal life and hobby life, it is a good idea to separate them.

If you are interested in having a separated “hobby” life from your professional and personal life you should really separate them.

First you should create a new identity, an identity you can use and throw away if you have to, like a burner phone.

Most professions have office hours, office phone and office space brick and mortar or a virtual space, your Burner Identity should too.

To “create” a Burner identity follow the example of the Green Hornet, two separate/different cars, different outfits/uniforms and different looks and keep them separated.

If you use glasses get two very different types of eyeglasses, comb your hair different, if you have gray hair on the temples get one of those temporary/washable hair colors for your hobby identify.

The idea is to be seen as two different people. If you are a white collar professional, your Burner identify can be a blue collar type, biker type or an “artist” like a painter 👩‍🎨 etc.

Make sure you dress in a way that will make you look good but with different complexion/size.

I am not going to recommend get a “fake” ID because that now days is a bigger crime that it was in the old days when almost everybody in high school had one.

However you can go to some places, where they give photo ID to volunteers and use your Burner identify there, because most times they don’t ask for ID and tell them your Burner Name/Alter-Ego, Jason Todd, for example and have them know you as Jason.

Make sure Jason is never out of that small circle of places where you can keep him safe and discreet.

The Burner phone is a matter of buying a prepaid phone using “Jason” to pay cash for it in a location as far away from your bat-cave location.

Most phones can be activated over the phone and there are still some pay phones around for that purpose.

When registering the phone use the initials JT and provide a valid address from an empty, vacant location. If you have to provide DOB for JT just take 5-10 years from yours and add a month and 5 days to your DOB or some combination that will be easy for you to remember without too much thinking.

Only turn on the Burner phone when you are away from your house, if possible keep it in a place other than your home. And use that phone for the hobby only.

You want to keep all of JT clothes, accessories, Etc in a secure separate place and only use it for the hobby.

Remember to use your alter ego to protect your family, friends and loved ones from any harm that could happen from your experiences.
