Atlanta's dying Strip Club Scene

As I sit here, less than 24 hours from finally visiting the world renown Hong Kong Tijuana, I look how the Atlanta strip club scene I have been loving for almost 20 years has been dying. Some clubs have benefited as a result of closed (Onyx) or super restricted clubs (i.e. Pony). But overall, Atlanta strip club scene is dying. It's not like it was back in the early 2000s and it definitely wasn't like it was in the 1990s when I was too young to get in, but heard all of the glorious stories (Club Nikki, Jazzy T's).
So let's start this geographically. Let's start on the Northside of town. I live in between Oasis and Follies. I use to be able to say I lived between Oasis, Follies and Shooter's Alley. There use to be another strip club right in the Shooter's Alley parking lot (name I can't remember) that was right near a XXX theater. Ahhh, those were the days. The "STRIP" of Shooter's Alley, the club behind Shooter's Alley, Follies and the Pony on the same street (Buford Hwy) was a monger's dream. Those days are over. Both strip clubs in the plaza where Shooter's Alley was is gone. So is the XXX theater. The Pony now in the the city of Brookhaven has been battling the city for so long, if a chick gets 5 feet of you she is reprimanded. I haven't been back to the Pony in like 5 years. Oasis is about the same with their ongoing fight with the city of Doraville.
Despite the challenges of North Atlanta politics to strip clubs, Follies is still going strong. I never thought I would stand in line for Follies in the daytime. And for night time on the weekends. Forget it. It's a line to the Pep Boys. I pretty much only go to Follies on Monday through Thursday on the weeknights. Random dayshifts are pretty good except later in the week, expect a line. Still a very diverse types of women. Black, white, hispanics (Cuban, Dominican, Colombian,etc) and everything in between. Fat asses, small asses, natural tits, fake tits. Follies still has it all. And still the place with the most mileage in the A. However, the city of Chamblee still pushes back. I hear rumors but I can't tell what is true or not, so I wont' disclose what I hear. Anyway, Follies now closes at 2am six days out of the week and at midnight on Sunday. So the days of 4am are over. So we'll see what happens next. Follies is still no. 1 and I'm not even sure who is no. 2
Staying on the Northside, Buckhead strip clubs are just terrible. Platinum is typically dead, but sometimes you 'll find a diamond in the rough and you get moderate mileage with the right one. Onyx is closed. Tattletales use to be the spot for good looking white girls, now they all look like trailer trash. Then there is Allure. Allure seem to take all the baddest strippers in the city from all the clubs and had them embark here. The women there are incredible. But the mileage is super low and super expensive. Not my cup of tea for the mongers of this site. So for the most part I stay out of Buckhead strip clubs. They're just not any good any more.
Downtown, old Goosebumps is now closed for this shit call "POWER". Everytime I go by it, it's close including a Friday night. I guess no one has reported this place as "permanently closed" but it sure seems that way. Magic City is not what it use to be. Their signature Monday night is typically hit or miss and is no where the juggernaut it use to be. A lot of the girls have left and went to Allure or other low mileage clubs. But even saying this, Magic City still has some pretty good looking girls, but the good nights are few and far between. Even on the weekends.
In Midtown, Cheetah is still the spot to take a date or your wife. The food is exquisite (definitely try that blackened Lobster tail and Risotto) and the women of all shades are beautiful. However, most of the girls are of the thin, fake tit type and not the fake twerk type I like. But it's still a decent place to go with friends espeically if you just went to an Atlanta sports event and have your ticket stub (free entry).
On the westside, V - Live and the Blue Flame is is still low mileage make it rain clubs with beautiful fake ass women. Personally, I rather go to the Flame, cuz at least I can park for free in the parking lot down the street (not recommended, it is the hood). V Live is like $40 to park and maybe $40 to get in and you'll be expected to throw 1's while your bitch of choice dances. I'm good, hon. I may not go back to V Live until this one particular dark skin bartender with braces decides to strips which I doubt will happen. I would love to see her naked one day.
Staying on the westside near Fulton Industrial and MLK is where you really see the dying of Atlanta SCs. Club Wax use to be that spot, but thanks to some Narc, girls can't get naked anymore back in VIP. Now it really is a "bikini only" bar. You can't even pay to see a chick naked back in VIP anymore. I heard some people say they can't even grind like they use to. I've been a few times recently and it's really not fun. For the last two years, it's been a good no.2 or no. 3 behind the KING FOllies. Not anymore. Babes is just as bad. They closed their VIP too and now you can't even get a dance by the pool tables as someone was getting "too extra" by the tables. Riley's is closed due to some shit I'm not sure is true (you might have to DM on that one). Fannies is coming up. Since Mardi Gras closed in Sandy Springs and the rest of the Sandy Springs strip clubs shut down for good, all the girls seem to have come here. I met this one girl their that was something exotic with huge tits. She was sexy as fuck. I can't remember her name. But she is def worth going to see. The rest of the talent was decent. 7s mostly.
On the southside, I hear Rocafellas is pretty good. I hear it mostly an afterhours spot, but it so far from my house. The only real club on the southside to write home about is GoldRush. Once an all white club, it's now all black. And the mileage is not that bad. Now dont' expect a Follies grind, but if you sit on those stools near the bathrooms, you'll get a pretty good dance.
If I had to say there was a side of town that had the best strip clubs as a collective group it would be the Eastside. PinUps somehow stays open until 8am on the weekends and the mileage is good. All black club for $5 dances and some chicks in there has some incredible bodies ( i have a list, DM me please). All of a sudden, Strokers is making a comeback. Not sure why, but it is. Still NO VIP. But it's some bad ass chicks there during the week and even more so on the weekends. But there is only a few places I like to sit in there so I don't go often. The office has ducks, but you get some very high mileage dances. Who knows, you might find a gem in the rough. Not that pretty girls. Now my fave on the Eastside would be Club Blaze. There dayshift is good and their nights are good. Sunday day shift are as good as Follies (well, not quite). semi high mileage dances. VIP rooms open, but a good many girls don't like to do them in fear of being judge. So to that I say, catch them on an off night (like a Wednesday) and they might go.
Overall, Atlanta's strip club scene is dying. High mileage dances use to be at every SC. Not anymore. With gentrification and cities become incorporated, expect ATL's SC scene to continue it's slow decline. So enjoy it while you can.
Now On a positive note, I can't wait to see this HK place. I"ve been waiting to go to this Damn place for 10 years or longer. The stories I've heard. I never been so excited to go somewhere in my life. I plan to be there Friday for sure and Sunday. With COI SCs on Saturday night.

Follies, Blaze, and Pin Ups are three clubs that I personally see that are still going strong. I was informed by a favorite that Follies is due to close sometime around 2022 after the current lease is up due to conflicts with the city of Chamblee. I went to Wax once earlier this year and they no longer get naked at all. They rarely grind. Basically a regular nightclub with skimpy go-go dancers now. Riley's closed due to a lawsuit that occured when an intoxicated customer got into a fatal accident not far from Riley's where she just left.
I also heard that Goldrush is doing well. Goldrush is one of the only black clubs in the city that I still have not been to yet so I may stop for a recon visit soon.
