COUPLES "TABOO" OR " TIPS FOR YOU"
vixen7
Hello my name is Vixen. I work in a small club called T's lounge in South Florida. Recently I was singled out by a member of TUSCL and questioned about couples in the clubs. This particular couple was having trouble getting the attention of dancers and was basically being ignored. This is for all you couples having similar problems.

First, I always ask couples if they would like a couples dance. I find couples that are "open" are fun to talk to and very easy to sell dances to. I also sense though that alot of my coworkers do not share my enthusiasm. I truly believe it is a social phobia on the dancer part. The girl may not know how to talk to a "couple" much less give a "couples dance". I guarantee that there is at least a few girls there that would be happy to, there are two ways to find out.

One - tip a girl onstage and invite her to sit with you for a drink when she finishes her set...then you can get to know her a bit. Two- simply ask the waitress to point out a dancer or two who may be open to couples dances. Tip Tip Tip and you will find your girl. She's out there. When all else fails pick the calmest puppy in the litter..you know the one with bedroom eyes. Have fun with it. If you get stuck with a girl you dont care for at your table..just say "nice to meet you peaches, we are going to get to know violet a little bit better now". It is kinder to send a girl packing whom you have no intention of spending money with than to waste your time and theirs by keeping them at your table. Well good luck and happy hunting! oh and dancers..if you have never done a couples dance what are you waiting for? If you dont know how...just basically do the same to both with slight variation and you are in like flynn!
