For the years I've called the Sands the biggest dive club in Seattle, I must now retract. Every element of Dancing Bare has the Sands beat dive-wise: the walk-of-shame entrance through an adult bookstore, the mismatched couches in the VIP area, the warm soda pop, the ancient sound system and the most disinterested DJ ever give the Dancing Bare the low-rent crown of Seattle's shrinking strip club scene.
And yet, it's the casual nature of the club that might make the Dancing Bare worthy of a return visit. The dancers (mostly former TW'ers, at least during my visit) were nice and relaxed, the VIP has a living room vibe that's kind of fun, and so far no cover. Definitely a club to watch grow.
