Located on Hwy 29, on crest of hill at Koser Ave, about 25 mi east of Chippewa Falls, in Clark County between Stanley and Thorp, Chubby's North is convenient stopover for cross-state drivers as well as locals, with ample parking space for trucks, too. Akin to it's larger cousin, Cruisin' Chubby's, down south in the Dells, it is a relatively new log-cabin style construction, with one large great room, one long stage with 3 poles, ample seating around stage and high tables and stools around the walls. There are two adjoing small rooms, one for personal dances ($20 topless) and one for VIP ($40 nude lap dances. Drinkers will be pleased with well-stocked bar and one or two attractive personable tenders, depending on the day of week. As advertised, there is no cover from 4-7pm (real time ~6:45pm as they set their clocks ahead by 15 mins to more easily clear everyone out by closing time). Girls will start showing up by 5-5:30 and, if enough customers, will start dancing from about 6:30; otherwise there is chance for personal time with them at bar or table. Management has always been cordial and place has a warm local feel overall.

Depending on season and day of week, there are 5~8 dancers mostly from nearby, Eau Claire, Marshfield, Wausau, Stevens Point. Occasionally, there are new dancers from further away in WI, MN, IL. Usual set is 2-3 songs, depending on crowd, going from topless to fully nude. Naturally tips at the rail are appreciated and rewarded with closer hugs and, depending on chemistry, friendly smiles, too. Off stage the girls are not too pushy or hustling but naturally would like to extend company to one or more private/VIP dances. If you have the patience and demeanor, you can converse and get to know the regular dancers better, as real people.... and, hey, its a fantasy business, after all, be sure to treat these nice women with a dance or two. Rating the girls' appearance is very subjective, i won't do it. There are mixed races, mostly caucasian, some black and asian; various sizes from slim and perky to plus and ample -- all beautiful in their own way. For myself, i will generously tip at the stage rail to all of them, until one or two resonate... we relax and talk, then they will get the private dances. I have never done the $20 personal dances so cannot comment but the fully-nude $40 lap dances can be very enjoyable, depending on the mood and skill of dancer; no-touching (by hands of customer) is strictly monitored by camera but there are few restrictions, on touching by the girl, so being genuinely respectful, friendly and generous to the dancers is usually reciprocated in warm fashion.
