Stopped in Carl's on a Sunday...

Stopped in Carl's on a Sunday and it was a little tamer than past visits. The grindage on the dances was still pretty good, but there was less groping both ways, and the girls did not flash certain parts the way they typically have in the past. I'm not sure if this is indicative of a change in direction at the bar overall, or if I just happened to hit it on the wrong night. But given that nearby Bobby's and Playpen are much tamer than they were even just a couple years ago, I wonder if the powers that be in this area aren't letting the bars get away with as much.

As always, there was a wide range of attractiveness among the girls: a 3, a couple 7's, and mostly 5's and 6's. My dancer rating of 5 is an average, but you can usually find someone here you would want to pay to dance for you, and they circulate pretty well. On that point: Another posted suggested you sit along the wall where the dances take place, instead of the general bar area, for better service. In the past they discouraged bar patrons from sitting there unless they were getting a dance, to keep the area open for dances. However, last night there were a bunch of guys just camping out in that row, and when I switched seats to join them, I did get more dance offers. That's something to keep in mind, although on a busy weekend I have to believe they'll still reserve those seats for dances.

This is what it is, but it's still the best of the "fashion show" bars along Mannheim Ave. It has the best-looking dancers, the best grindage and is the cleanest facility.
