Had a business trip to New...

Had a business trip to New Orleans and spent some time hitting all the local spots...including Visions because of online reviews. I went on a Thurs. and Fri. night. Thurs. was later, close to closing time. One of the two large bars/stages was closed, it wasn't crowded, so there was a good ratio of dancers to patrons. The girls are hotter than I expected given that it's a 10 minute cab ride outside the city. If you want to pay a cheap cover, drink a beer for what you'd pay at a bar and have gorgeous women dance in front of you every few minutes, and kill some time, then it's not a bad diversion during a night out.

However... On Fri. night, the place was jammed with patrons...too many and WAY too few dancers. My biggest criticism of this place and a couple guys from Vegas sitting next to us agreed -- I've never seen dancers work less hard, appear less interested. They have 200 feet of a bar stage they cover, stopping at every guy for a buck, so if you're an out-of-towner looking to have a hot chick beg you to pony up to go the VIP route, this isn't the place. Seemed to me that the place was full of townies that frequent the place a few times a week and are in the market for a girlfriend and the dancers are happy to have their asses kissed with conversation over bump and grind...what else can explain seeing so many dancers on the clock, not getitng paid, sitting around chatting with old friends?

Next time I'm in New Orleans, I've got better places to spend my time and money.
