I've hit Roxy's about a dozen...

I've hit Roxy's about a dozen times now, and I know that Mondays are usually not the best. With that said, last Monday was still a little disappointing. Besides the usual things you have to deal with like the fact that the club is in Brooklyn which isn't exactly the nicest place in the world.

So, last Monday I walked in, paid the cover, and bought a bear. Everyone was nice enough, but it was like someone just shot their dog. No big deal, it's Monday right? Well, I went to the stage, and received the most lackluster performance I've received at Roxy's. I decided to grab a chair and check out the other talent. Even though the place was pretty dead only one of the girls came over to sit by me. Within the first minute, she asked me to buy her a drink. When I said maybe later, she left, and noone else stopped by for the next 20 minutes. I decided to finish my beer and head somewhere else. I'll have to say my experience at Roxy's isn't what I've come to expect, so I'll give them another try. Maybe things will be different next time.
