It had been well over a year since we'd been here when we decided to give it another go last Saturday. We got it about 8pm and it was still pretty quiet. The area is changing - there is a lot of gentrification going on around the club. Even as recently as two years ago it was largely empty lots, parking, and vagrants wondering around the intersection of 4th & K. Now there is a huge new condo building with restaurants right across from Louie's...very strange, but the club is still there...for now.

Anyhow the place still operates the same. A note to white guys: again, we were the only 3 white guys in the place for most of the night, but it's not an issue here, everyone is cool. The waitresses are still very slow to bring the beers around - which is the polar opposite of every other strip club in DC where they are counting on you drinking a lot to up their revenue and tips.

The girls are still almost exclusively black and very thick. There were a few on the slimmer side but none that I would call "thin" on the night we were there. And they still show everything - they aren't shy about putting it all right on the edge of the stage for you to take in. Early on in the evening when we were the only ones at the side of the stage it was borderline uncomfortable. As the night wore on and more guys filtered in it took on a more festive atmosphere.
