I've become annoyingly regular at this place, and I don't dislike it. It now has (in my personal pantheon) a new rival, in that Penthouse offers an excellent high-mileage deal in its 20-minutes $100 lap-dance arrangement, because at Visions you'd pay by the song at $30 each. But still, Visions has its appeal. It's off the beaten track, so there are really no annoying tourists to deal with. It has its regular attendees who kind of treat each other with the appropriate degree of deference and respect. It is nicely multi-ethnic, including both men and dancers who are of a variety of skin-colors but who tend to behave in an "average North American" manner. This is not usually the case in the French Quarter, where a black dancer (or patron) often seems to think it's necessary to highlight their race rather than ignore it, deliberately acting in an over-done "ghetto" manner; and similarly, there are few places in New Orleans where hispanics and whites seem to mingle as readily as at Visions. The dancers are all rather "normal" looking; mostly, just young women who have nice bodies; nothing spectacular. The lappers are high-mileage of the standard "Tampa style," meaning the girls will straddle you, grind on you, mush you, move sideways and mush you again, put your hands on pretty much every body part of you, but not remove any of your clothes (except maybe unbutton a dress shirt?) and certainly not remove their pantie-bottoms, ever. I heard once or twice there were a limited few girls on day-shift who were higher-service, but I haven't found them despite my regularity of attendance and, frankly, I'm basically not interested in finding them. The girls talk to you, have experiences in the city that are probably similar to yours if you're from here ("how'd you make out in da storm?" and "where'd ya go ta school?" meaning high school). So, it's a "locals" place. Usually I like that. I wouldn't go here with out-of-town friends if they said they really liked the strip clubs in Vegas because of the amazing women. I would, if they said they didn't really need the highest-priced place in town but mostly they wanted to drink a nice cold cheap beer and to see some worthwhile tittie. Strange arrangement, with the required long promenade along the building-length bar, and the required tipping from patrons, so read other reviews to get a sense of what that's all about. Fun place, relaxed, locals. Very safe parking lot, by the way, with guys who are eagle-eyed about it 100% of the time! The numbers I've selected for this review are meant to represent an overall impression of the club, after having visited during most time periods on most days of the week.
