I have been to this club multiple times over the last decade. I have family in town and head out when visiting after 10pm bedtimes. This discreet club in the middle of downtown hasn't really changed much over the years. This is the only real strip club for almost a 100 mile radius. Since the city of Santa Maria only has about 5 bars open past 10pm and cops just itching for DUI busts, this is your only other adult type late night entertainment option. Fortunately, Shaw's, Louie B's, and even the Tap room at the Santa Maria Inn are a short walk. This are the options for those wanting to drink up before and sober up at this small, full nude, no alcohol club. Just make sure you walk in a pair/group at night as the neighborhood is just ok.

The club is nearly square in shape on the inside, with a small single rectangular stage/pit in the corner. The entrance discreetly at the back of the building with $10 cover during the day and $20 at night last time I was there 4 months ago. Occational pornstar features, listed on the schedule at the Spearmint Rhino website. Dances were $20/40 topless/nude. Songs are a little short, like those at all Spearmint Rhinos.

Several daytime and nighttime visits have had 4 to 15 women per visit and the quality in general is high (5-9 out of 10 every visit), with a mix of white and hispanic girls everytime. The women are friendly and are have less of the money grubbing vibe than at other Rhino clubs have. Most of the women working there don't have that "I hate men and hate being a stripper." feeling to them. A few relaxed non alcoholic drinks and conversation with a pretty girl has gotten me some very hot lap dances. The only downside is the lack of privacy on the long bench in the back during dances with a big bouncer watching you closely. I have had women WANTING to be groped (they placed my hands on them)only to have the bouncer say "Don't let him do that".

Considering that this is the only real club available on the central coast, I recommend this little gem highly for anyone wanting to make a pitstop while passing by on the 101. I recommend it over the Rhino clubs in Santa Barbara or Oxnard for those trying to find a place to kill a few hours on a long road trip.
