On a trip to PR I...

On a trip to PR I decided to check out the SC scene. I usually stay in Condado but Diva's has long been closed, Isis has recently gone and Deja Vu was closed at least while I was there.

Got a cab to Hato Rey to check out Lips.

The club is fairly small and decorated in a very modern style, more like a trendy wine bar than a SC. In addition to the bar and single stage there are couches at the end to hang out with your favorite dancers.

I didn't get much "cold calling" while I was there. You seem to need to make your attentions know if you like a girl but they are all very friendly when you do.

Private dances are $30 for 2 songs in a very private curtained-off cubilce in a back room. I saw no montoring of this area at all. Dances are pretty good with moderate 2 way contact allowed by most girls but some seem to be even more liberal. Once I found a girl that I really liked I asked about the Champaign Room. It's $250 for an hour to the house though the girl indicated that a relatively modest tip ontop was all that's needed. She showed me the separate Champaign rooms that are even more private. They essentially have a "couch" that to all intents and purposes is a bed, so I was hooked. Had to arrange a "date" for the following night since I had blown my money by then and was done anyway.
