Penthouse is...

Penthouse is one of the clubs in the Detroit that continues to be one of the finest clubs. Valet parking is mandatory, though if you work it right, you can skip it. Walking in the club, the downstairs bar is to your right, and tables and booths are around the stage in the middle of the room. This club like its' sister club features fine machines suspended above the main stage. Here, there are two motorcycles suspended above the stage. Drinks are expensive, there has been a huge price increase recently.The main stage is in the middle of the room, there is a long side stage off to one side and the dancers also dance on the main bar. I've never had the food here so I can't comment on that. Music is standard SC rock, fairly loud. Service varies, I've waited a long time for a drink when they aren't busy, to very good service even when they are busy. Go figure.

Dances are $25 per song and up, with extras available. The VIP areas are on the second level of the club, with several booths with curtains available, and an even larger booth area at the back of the VIP area. You can get everything you want(even though this isn't Alice's Restaurant, credits to Arlo Guthrie) LOL. I had several satisfying dances with one of the dancers who tried to overcharge me for the dances proper, but we negotiated a decent price at the end. Lots of plastic, lots of fine women. I'll return, I just won't pay the inflated prices on several of the drinks. What do they think this region can afford????
