Was here a couple weeks ago...

Was here a couple weeks ago on a Saturday night. Had stopped by another club (Penthouse) and had a few standard fare dances. While the overall quality of the dancers in this club don't quite compare to Penthouse, this place was much more fun. The "poshness" of the two clubs are really incomparable. Penthouse is what you would expect..glitzly, etc. This place was much more of a dive with a small dance stage (at least downstairs). There weren't that many dancers - perhaps 10 in total and I'd say 5 of them were lapdance worthy. Found a young blonde (recruited her through my waitress) and we chatted for a bit. I like that she was very personable and offered some tidbits on some of the other clubs around Bourbon St. Discussed dances and, contrary to my years of SC eduction, I went straight to their version of the VIP with her. And wasn't disappointed. It was actually pretty cool. This place is somewhat like an old house and our VIP room was like being in an upstairs parlor or formal room in an old mansion. A couch, chairs, fireplace, pictures on the wall...interesting setup. Our drink orders were delivered (I don't recall if these were mandatory but we each ordered one drink) and the waitress then closed the doors and we were left alone in our parlor. Great atmosphere. 30 minutes of great lapdancing ensued and I'll be headed back in the near future. My ratings probably don't do this particular visit justice but I'm trying to judge consistently in each category versus my prior reviews.
