The Dancin Bare is my neighborhood...

The Dancin Bare is my neighborhood strip club. I've been in there many times over the years. It's not my favorite titty bar in Portland, but it definitely not the worst and it is close to home so it gets a lot of business from me. The place is basically a medium/large sized dive bar with three stages, two with poles, one without. During the day they usually have only one or two stages going. The lighting is brighter than a lot of clubs in town, which I like. I mean, who wants to go to a club that's so dark that you can barely see the dancers? Beer selection is okay by Portland standard; there are maybe ten beers on tap with a selection of domestics and local craft brews. A good micro will run you about $4.50 which isn't too bad. Overall the club is reasonably clean and well-run, with a friendly staff. There is an MC but no DJ; the girls pick their own music which tends to be mostly hip hop or rock, although I also heard some new country.

The talent level I would say is a bit above average. The couple times I've been recently the girls were all 6's and 7's. The girls mostly tended to have some tats/piercings/dredlocks, which is typical for Portland clubs. They also all seemed to have natural tits, which I like. A couple of the girls seemed to be pretty young, and in fact Mondays are "Minor Mondays," so if you're into the petite young pussy, that may be the day to go. The nastiness level here is about average for Portland clubs, which is to say not too nasty. Nonetheless, the girls mostly gave good, close views of their pussies and there was some very limited contact between dancer and patron.

"Lap dances" are done at a bench along one of the walls of the club. Not private at all. And from what I've seen are all air. Definitely not worth $20 in my opinion.
