Crystal City Restaurant - the Stepford Strippers of No. Va.

Despite having read the reviews, it turns out this is the ONLY club in the Crystal City, VA area that was within walking distance to the hotel row. Sooooo, I decided that it was better than room service. Unfortunately, it wasn't. I could have had more fun watching Comedy Central and ordering in a pizza.

The club is tucked into a tiny strip shopping center next to a chinese restaurant. There is one stage in the middle of a rectangular club with 4 top and 6 top tables surrounding it. No dj...only a juke box that the girls use to select their music and of course, not having a dj you then get those 10-15 seconds of "dead air" as the music stops and starts.

The girls, well actually the ladies, were older, much older than many strip clubs. I'd put the average at 33-34...although they were in good shape...

Attitude was non existent...these women were mechanical, much like the Stepford wives from Stephen King in their approach to the stage, having no intereset in chatting up customers, no lap dances, and the one woman who accepted my "drink" offer had a Sprite.
