I hadn't been to Vixens in...

I hadn't been to Vixens in a few months and decided to give it a try while I was in the area with an evening to kill. I've been here on Sunday evenings before, and it is usually a little slow, and tonight was no exception. I usually like it on slow nights, since you don't have to fight for dancer attention, the music stays at a reasonable volume, and the thug factor is low. But tonight it just seemed like everyone working there, from dancers to staff, wished they were somewhere else.

There were about 10 dancers when I walked in around 8PM. Cover was $5 which I believe is down from $10 on previous Sunday/weekday evening visits. There were about 10 dancers, mostly 7s and 8s, with a few 6s in the mix. I had been hoping to run into a hot brunette that I've never had the chance to get a dance from, but she wasn't there. Actually, I only vaguely recognized one of the dancers from previous visits. Usually I know several of them.

While I was standing at the bar trying to get a beer ($3.50), a cute brunette approached me, but I wanted to scope out the action first, and she seemed to be bored anyway, so I declined. About 30 seconds later a nice-looking Eastern European girl, whose English seemed to be limited to "Hiwannadance", arrived. No thanks. After I got my beer, which took about 15 minutes since the bartender was more interested in her dinner than me standing there, I headed to the stage for some tipping.
