It’s my regular club. The best place to go in the district in my opinion, considering location, talent, price, atmosphere… Eight dollars for a glass of wine and $4.95 for a bowl of soup is pretty good, even for non-SC standards in this town. I usually never stay for more than an hour, which means it’s not that hard on the wallet (no private dances here or elsewhere in town), and by then I’ve pretty much seen enough. The dancers used to be 6-9 just a few months ago, whereas now I’d say 5-8. You might rate them higher, it’s just that around town (restaurants, shopping malls) you see many real lovelies, and you would expect this environment to present the top tier of the female landscape.

Having said all that, there is more than enough to keep me coming back. In order to do any more than a little looking, I’d have to go “out of town,” and I pretty-much enjoy what’s here. DC is experiencing a restriction on many “gentlemans’ activities,” and while Archie’s might not be a “destination” venue, it’s pretty good, all things considered.
