Need to add a caveat to my previous glowing endorsements of this joint: Stay away on Tuesday evening!

Showed up around 12:30, $10 cover. No other customers. One 40+ black dancer with a long-gone body and a face full of utter misery, slowing shaking her pimple-covered ass into the empty air. I took a walk around the block and tried to clear my head... surely it couldn't be that bad. Went back in. Yes, it was that bad. The cute bartender apologized, slow night. Slow? It felt like a funeral for 2-year-old. I expected someone to burst into tears at any moment, and I didn't want it to be me, so high-tailed it.

Reality check, of course: How much of a party can I expect on a Tuesday night? Well, I took my business to The Body Shop and had a great time; I'll write that up next.
