I've been to Sammy's many times...

I've been to Sammy's many times in the past, but I was very surprised at how good it was on this particular Wednesday night. A buddy and I arrived about 1:30 am and stayed until close at 3am. The club itself is medium-sized, with one main stage and two smaller stages. The music is not too loud, which is nice after a night of drinking, and there are a decent mix of songs. It was quiet customer-wise, but not dead; however, there were about 10 dancers working, many of whom I found very attractive. Most were fairly young, possibly early twenties, and mainly white/blonde. The best action is at the main stage, where you can get a close seat and the dancer will move around the stage and come dance in front of you for your tips. They get very sensual and in your face if you're willing to throw a few bucks on stage. Private dances at Sammys on the other hand are not so good of a value. They run about 20 bucks depending on the girl, but they are mainly air dances with very little contact. Ive had a couple before, put passed on them on this occasion However, the girls are not very pushy at all when it comes to offering dances, and many will come by your table later on and thank you if you tipped them on stage. While no extras are available in the club from what Ive seen, there are opportunities outside the club. One dancer quoted my friend $150 to go home with him for the night once she got off work. So if that's what you are looking for, it is available. The price of admission during the week is 6 bucks, or free if you are military, and the average beer will set you back about 5 bucks. Overall, I had a very good time checking out some hot ladies, and I will definitely check Sammy's out again during the week.
