Last trip was HK, and I wasn't too impressed, so I went back to Adelitas where I've had good times before. Friday evening around 7pm I crossed the border. No traffic, quick border cross, $5 cab ride and I was there. Only speed bump was I totally forgot to get a bunch of small bills for tips. I only had a $20, so my cabby gave me 100 pesos in change and a $5 bill. He made out, but the exchange wasn't too lopsided. Cabbies at both ends (there and back) both were pushing Amnesia hard. I had the same experience on my last visit. Maybe I'll check it out next time.

Inside it was dimly lit in red as always and was about half full of people. I grabbed a seat (only a few available) and ordered 2 beers (@ $3.50 each). Fended off a few chubby girls and looked around for about 20 minutes before I found one I liked.

I will say there are a lot of really sketchy looking women with not-so-great bodies (lots of saggy bellies and a few with savage vertical c-section scars that are a complete turnoff). I was hoping around 8pm the better looking girls would show up, but I only saw a few and they were all with other guys. I finally did get an early 30's looking woman with some very nice curves, huge tits (fake) and a good figure to talk to. She didn't speak hardly any english, but I spoke enough spanglish to get by.
