I danced here for a couple...

I danced here for a couple of weeks. I liked the stage and the DJ was very nice; played what I asked him and never made me dance to rap. I was dancing here before race weekend last year, so I missed that crowd, but I really enjoyed my time at Venus. I was a little turned off by the west-side thug clientele, but as long as I stayed away from them, I was all right. The only other negative was the sheer number of girls hired on slow nights. The VIP area is not at all private, although there is a little room with a pole and a small stage toward the front of the club. Not too closed off, however. A good mixture of girls and a lot of sweet, genuine patrons. Would recommend this club to anyone, and if I didn't live so far away, I'd go back.
