I finally gave this place a...

I finally gave this place a try for the first time. It's been open nearly two years and I've never been there. I happened to be in the area so dropped by. It was Tuesday which was amateur night (more on that later). For those that do not know, Angels is in the old Country Palace building. The C.P. was, as the name implies, a redneck country bar that happened to have topless dancers. Never thought of it as a strip club. I hated it. So I guess that's why I never was anxious to give Angels a chance. The owners have a done a great job of remodeling. It really looks different inside. That's the good news. The bad news is the quality of girls hasn't improved much. They are pretty average. A few girls that used to work at Deja Vu migrated over. I'm picky....I like spectacular looking girls and I didn't find anything there I like.

About amateur night - as usual, most of the girls that perform are not really amateurs. They are dancers from other clubs looking to cash in. This really disappoints me. One of my big pet peeves.

I doubt if I will return anytime soon. With their competitor, Deja Vu, across town, offering fully nude dances, I prefer that. And better yet, there are better options within an hours drive from Kazoo.
