A really nice club.

My friend and I drove down from Grand Rapids to check out Angels early on a Thursday evening. I’m happy we made the trip!

The building is kind of by itself off of a two lane road. It has a nice appearance, and parking seems to be relatively plentiful. We grabbed a spot right in front of the building and headed inside. A $5 cover charge for each of us, a contribution to the tip jar, and that was it! No ID scan, no pat down, no wanding, no dog-sniffing, no strip searching…just a friendly welcome!

The club is very nice inside. It’s basically a big rectangle with a wide, shallow stage in the middle, a bar area, and a good selection of seats to choose from. There were both smaller tables with chairs, and some larger booths along some of the walls. The dance area is off to the left side, and the men’s room is near the dance area. Speaking of the men’s room, it’s quite respectable! There were two urinals, along with one rather decorative-looking sink, which I had to wait a minute to use. I honestly didn’t even glance over to see how many stalls there were, but the restroom seemed clean, it had hand soap in the dispenser, and an actual paper towel dispenser too! Hooray!
