In many respects it is a fairly average club. The cover isn't too bad ($5), the girls aren't amazing but there aren't any real bad ones either. The drinks are a little overpriced, even by strip club standards, but not ludicrously so. They have two stages, a main one and a side one set up like a cage. The lap dances are done in a sort of nook off to the side, so you get some privacy, but not a ton. Dances are the usual $20 and are pretty good on girl to guy contact, but pretty strictly lacking in the other direction. As I said, this bar is middle of the road quality in almost all ways.

The only thing above average would be the variety of music played. You can get rock, rap, techno, and so forth, so you didn't have to get sick of all the dancers dancing to the same thing like you have at some clubs.

What makes this a less than average club for me, unfortunately, is that it is in Tulsa. No offense to locals, Tulsa was a great city to visit and I enjoyed it, but the strip club rules there are ridiculous and annoying. All the girls had to paint glitter on their nips, which did nothing to actually cover them up, but did ensure that I came home covered in glitter. On top of that, Tulsa has a weird system where in order for a girl to sit and talk to you (which anywhere else is basically free, since they are trying to talk you into getting a dance where you both benefit) you are supposed to buy her talking time by getting her a 17-100 dollar drink in exchange for her time spent chatting with you (100 gets you time in the VIP room). Now, I'm no cheapskate, and I for one enjoy getting to know the dancers, but the idea of having to pay one I haven't even met yet for the privilege of finding out she is in a bad mood or not my type, that is ridiculous! From what I saw, almost all the clubs in Tulsa had this system in one form or another, so I can't really hold it against Godiva's. But all the same, these things did detract from what would otherwise be a solid strip club experience.
